Welcome Message from Organising Chairperson

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The Dermatological Society of Malaysia is honoured to host the 15th Asia Pacific Environmental Occupational Dermatology Symposium (APEODS) from 12th – 15th September 2019 in Kuala Lumpur. This symposium will be held in conjunction with Malaysian Annual Dermatology Conference.

The Meeting will focus on knowledge to enhance safety in the environment and at work and emphasizing on determining the cause of the allergy beyond the shadow of doubt. Prominent dermatologists from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Croatia, England, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden and Thailand are expected to share their experiences and knowledge in their respective fields during this symposium.

We will be introducing a session specially for local junior dermatologists to discuss with the experts. We will also take the opportunity in commemorating the 30th year of APEOD group by launching the Asian research database for future references.

We hope you will take this opportunity to fortify the friendship and sharing of knowledge among Asia Pacific dermatologists and the ICDRG members. Your presence and active participations will determine the success of this event.

On a lighter side, get to know Malaysia where a melting pot of multi-culturalism and diversity, rich with historical background and exotic cuisines await the adventurous. Welcome Message from the President

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of Dermatological Society of Malaysia (DSM) and the APEODS Organizing Committee, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the upcoming 15th Asia-Pacific Environmental & Occupational Dermatology Symposium (APEODS) and the 44th Annual Dermatology Conference (ADC) of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia. This conference is scheduled to be held on the 12-15 September 2019 at Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The theme for this year is "Safe environment to work and live". The scientific program will cover extensively all the latest updates and advances related to contact dermatitis, contact allergy, occupational dermatoses and also general dermatology. We are indeed privileged to have more than 20 renowned speakers and experts from various countries to share their experience and knowledge.

This conference also aims to favor networking and foster closer ties among dermatologists and healthcare providers from different countries. On top of that, we would also like to invite you to experience our warm Malaysian hospitality and explore variety of attractions in our country ranging from culture, heritage, shopping, culinary, nature and adventure.
